Okay, saturday is a happy time because even though i like my job, it's nice to have some time off too. So I read a couple of theories as to why this is called black friday, in regards to shopping. The only one i can think of offhand, is that many retailers are in the red until that shopping day rolls around and then they sell so much merchandise that they are in the black at that point. Rufus Harley, jazz bagpipe player has passed away this year . He played with Laurie Anderson and others in the 80s and nineties. I think i recognize his trademark sound from the song Talk Normal or something(s) she did from the early to mid eighties.
